I'm contemplating buying a car out of state... it's a rare car and EXACTLY how i want it. I'm terribly confused about the buying process and taxes involved --

1. I'll be registering the vehicle in Texas. I'll also be trading in my current car to the out of state dealer. When I register it in Texas, do I pay the tax on the difference between the sale price and trade in? Or do I have to pay the full sales tax,
