I need help getting my mom to let me get my license?

Question by Paul S: I need help getting my mom to let me get my license?
I'm 16 and i have my temporary license and i finished driving school(she payed for it), but now my mom is telling me that i have to get a job before i get my license. she tells me that i have to pay for insurance for my car but i don't think that's the problem. could someone help me find a way to get my mom to let me get my license. my dad can't do it because he is in a diff country.
