I live in the UK (England)

i'm 22 years old. I drive a Nissan Micra 1 litre. I am on my mothers insurance, as in, she is policy holder and i'm the 2nd driver which means I dont get any no claims bonus at all.

My question is: if and when I am confident and gained enough experience to get my own policy and so I can obtain no claims bonus, can I get no claims protector? in my first year? because if and when I do move to my own policy, I
