Good Student Discount?

My dad told me i cant get a car until i get a 3.0 (for the student discount). My dad asked if the insurance company is strict with the grades and the rep told him any current grade will do. Since the quarter reset i figured i could pull this off for a few weeks. Right now i have 4 A's an F and a D(69.7!). which is not a 3.0 (D needs to be .3% higher). Only prob is that its now spring break and since the quarter just reset none of my grades are posted. now
