Can I drive my friends car in America with an English license?

Question by : Can I drive my friends car in America with an English license?
I have fully comp insurance in the UK that doesn't cover driving in America. However, my friend who lives in America has insurance that covers anyone to drive her car. Am I allowed to drive her car given that I have a license and her permission, and am I covered by her insurance?
