Question by : can hospital charge higher amount for insurance patient?
I had a car accident and got some treatment.
The hospital billed me 00. But they sent a bill amounted 00 to my attorney.
I asked them why their charge to the attorney is much larger than 00.
They said that 00 was discounted amount for cash patient.
How come billing amount for insurance becomes higher?
Isn't it fraudulent billing?
