Why should men care about women complaining about having higher health care costs in the US?

Question by The Equalist: Why should men care about women complaining about having higher health care costs in the US?
Given that men unfairly have to pay higher car insurance just for being men, yet you never hear women say it's unfair to men. I've actually heard women brag that their car insurance isn't as costly as men's.

So why should a man care about women's health care costing more. The fact is, pregnancies and OB/GYN visits means women visit the hospitals more than men.
