have Nationwide car insurance, and I'd like to know if the good student discount that requires a 3.0 is for a cumulative GPA or for each semesters GPA.

I'm in college and I got a 2.95 as my cumulative GPA--I'm joining my parents insurance now--but I have a 3.4 as my individual GPA for this Spring semester.
