Question by jonB: how much does it cost to run a car (in the uk)?
i know absolutely nothing about cars and neither of my parents drive. i'm a student and i want to learn to drive and maybe get a car, but how much would it all cost to run? can somebody give me the low-down on things like MOT, car insurance, petrol costs each time you fill up (and how long it lasts) for your average car - say a vw golf for example. like say for 30 minutes driving, how much petrol costs would that be? sorry if
