Im 16 and about to get my license. For a first car, I'm looking to get a used 04-06 Pontiac Grand Prix. Of course, I want to get the V8 GXP trim compared to the base V6 trim. But my parents say that the insurance on a V8 for a 16 year old male driver would be rediculous, which I know. But how much more would it be to insure a V8 Grand Prix compared to a V6? And would taking a defensive driving course or something make a considerable
