Question by Answer4u: Why can't the profressional body shop match the paint on my car?
My car was hit recently. Got the repairs done, covered by insurance. The car is metallic grey. The body shop painted the whole side that was hit a slightly off shade that is more silver than grey. I have taken it back to the shop and had the insurance claims adjuster look at the job, and they claim to not be able to see the difference. I have also been told how hard it is to match .
