Question by : Can I trade in a car in PA without a title? Title is with florida DMV?
I was military stationed in Florida, and I paid off my car loan, so no lien on the car. I got out of the Navy and moved back to Pennsylvania and called my bank to get the title, they tell me Florida law says the bank has to send the Florida DMV the title, so the Florida DMV has it.

The car is registered, Florida plates, (expired though) and insurance is in my name, no co-owner.
