Question by : Can I drive a car across states with just the signed over title and proof of insurance?
I just bought a car from a private seller in DC and need to drive it Indiana. In DC, there are no trip permits, transfer permits, or anything of the sort ( DC dmv blows). I have the car insured and the signed over title, but I am not able to get a temporary plate from DC because they only offer them in case of needed inspections.
