Question by : Can I drive a car across states with just the signed over title and proof of insurance?
I just bought a car from a private seller in DC and need to drive it Indiana. In DC, there are no trip permits, transfer permits, or anything of the sort ( DC dmv blows). I have the car insured and the signed over title, but I am not able to get a temporary plate from DC because they only offer them in case of needed inspections. Sorry, I know nothing about cars. I've always loved the look of a vintage mustangs like the 60s mustangs. Went on a ride in a friends 66 mustang and fell in love with it years ago. The thing is, the economy is pretty bad, and I'm in college. I'm in the market for a car, but I'm wondering if a 1965 ford mustang can be full efficient in any way... like making it into a hybrid?...
