Is the 98/99 Mitsubishi eclipse good on gas/maintenance (GSX, GS, etc)?

Question by MoMo RC: Is the 98/99 Mitsubishi eclipse good on gas/maintenance (GSX, GS, etc)?
I've wanted an eclipse for a while, I would love to have one as my first car. 1st my parents will be paying for the insurance, I only will have to pay on gasoline and probably maintenance.

I would like to get the 1999 or 1998 210HP version 9 (GSX) or if not a convertible gst.

I've looked the milage up, compared to other cars it seems to be about the same. Generally is the milage pretty good?
