Question by Feeling Blue: Why do car insurance companies only offer "Act of God" protection for certain incidents?
If you hit a deer with your car, it is considered "an act of God" and the insurance company covers the damage to the vehicle. With this style of thinking, isn't EVERYTHING an act of God? If I drink too much wine at communion and then drive home and run a red light, resulting in the death of a mini van full of puppies and children, isn't that also an "act of God?"
