Should health insurance just be banned period?

Question by TJ: Should health insurance just be banned period?
I obviously don't mean all health insurance. I think that health insurance reform could be done by completely doing away with insurance having to pay for a yearly check-up or an bottle of generic brand medicine.

Let me do a quick comparison: Health insurance now, is like car insurance paying for your gas, oil changes, tires, etc. Not just major damages to your car.

Health insurance should be the same.
